Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated research associate or research scientist with a background in virology research and a strong publication record. The successful candidate will be expected to work with an antiviral drug discovery team. As a research associate you will work independently and work under supervision. You will internally generated data, develop and implement research plans utilizing all the cutting edge technologies, communicate the results with the medicinal chemists, and research teams. Additionally, the candidate is expected to manage the laboratory daily work.

Minimum requirements

Master or Ph.D. in molecular virology or related field, HBV biology is plus.
Hands on molecular biology bench work. Experience in DNA/RNA/protein extraction, qPCR assay, northern/southern blotting and western blotting.

Independent, self motivated and innovative
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills; track record of success working collaboratively
